A single vehicle crash in Christian County last night resulted life-threatening injuries for the driver who had to be airlifted to an area hospital.
ISP reports say 19 year old Jay Goins was driving a 2008 Ford Fusion on Illinois 104 just west of 1500 N. around 8:30pm.
Goins ran off the road and struck a tree. The vehicle came to rest between the tree and a guard rail.
Goins was cited for Driving Too Fast for Conditions and Improper Lane Usage.
