A man walked into a 7th floor Sangamon County Courtroom around 10 this morning and, disregarding all orders to stop, approached Judge Ryan Cadigan while court was in session.
Deputies attempted to get the man to leave the courtroom but he fought them and even bit one deputy on the arm.
The 52-year-old man was taken into custody and was then transported to a hospital for evaluation and treatment.
