A 31 year old man was killed in a motor vehicle crash on Peoria Road in Springfield Saturday.
The man was taken to HSHS St. John’s Hospital where he was pronounced deceased around 730 in the evening.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday and the identity of the deceased is pending next of kin notification. The death is under investigation by the Sangamon County Coroner and the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office.
