The Christian County Coroner’s office has released the name of the man who was killed in the train track mobile and train crash in Stonington. He is 69-year-old Stephen Jordan of Moweaqua.
An autopsy was held on Saturday and preliminary results indicate that Mr. Jordan died of multiple traumatic injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and being conducted by Stonington Police Department, Christian County Sheriff’s Office, Norfolk Southern Police, and the Christian County Coroner’s office.
