The man killed in a crash on southbound I-55 yesterday has been identified.
Sangamon County Coroner Cinda Edwards says Kristopher Henderson, 32, of Monterey, California was pronounced dead at Memorial Medical Center at 3:48 p.m. An autopsy conducted this morning showed the preliminary cause of death as blunt force traumatic injuries from the accident. Blood tests are pending.
Henderson’s truck went off the road at 3:05 when he over corrected after a lane change. The truck rolled over and came to rest in the ditch, ejecting both him and his passenger.
