A man wanted for an attempted murder in the state of Nevada has apparently been arrested in Lincoln.

Our news partners at WAND-TV report Jeffrey Todd Jones was taken into custody in Lincoln Saturday, for the assault of a 55-year-old man at his Nye County, Nevada home.

The man was found unconscious in his home August 30th, and has been hospitalized ever since.

Lincoln Police Chief Paul Adams says once it was believed Jones was in Lincoln, his office started to work with sheriffs deputies and the U-S Marshals to locate him. Jones was taken into custody during a traffic stop while riding his motorcycle.

Jones is expected to be extradited back to the area northwest of Las Vegas within the next week.
