Sangamon County State’s Attorney John Milhiser is announcing Mary Beth Rodgers as First Assistant State’s Attorney.
Ms. Rodgers has served as an assistant state’s attorney in Sangamon County since graduating from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2014.
Her most recent assignment in the state’s attorney’s office has been as the chief of the felony division.
Prior to that, in addition to other responsibilities, she was assigned to Sangamon County’s three problem-solving courts – drug court, mental health recovery court and veteran’s treatment court.
Mary Beth Rodgers resides in Springfield with her husband and daughter.
