Please join the Mayor of Springfield for an event to pay tribute to the men and women who have served our great nation. The Mayor’s Veterans Day Event, hosted by the Veterans’ Advisory Council, is scheduled for Friday, November 10, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the American Legion Post 809 at 1800 E. Capital Ave. This will be a significant opportunity to express gratitude and pay respect for the sacrifices made by our veterans.
The program is designed to show appreciation to those who have dedicated their lives to defending our freedom.
Mayor Misty Buscher will deliver brief remarks at 6:00 pm, highlighting the significance of Veterans Day and the exceptional contributions of our veterans to our community and country.
