The case against a Capital Area Career Center janitor on child pornography charges has been continued until January.
The attorney for Jacob Stark of Chatham Monday asked for the delay while Stark undergoes a mental evaluation to determine if he is fit to stand trial.
Stark faces 10 counts of child pornography after police found pictures of children engaged in sex acts at the center.
At the time of his arrest, Stark was the most prolific online trader of child pornography under investigation by the Illinois Attorney General’s high tech crimes bureau, according to the office.
