Former circuit clerk Tony Libri and his wife, Ann, are working to restore the former Ursuline Music Conservatory and surrounding structures but not only are they fighting the elements but thieves and vandals as well.
Libri says as much as a quarter-million dollars in copper and other valuable metals has been stripped away by thieves.
He also says many windows have been destroyed by vandals including a magnificent stained glass window that was kicked in just so vandals could get inside the building.
Libri is asking for the publics help in forming some sort of neighborhood watch to keep an eye on the property.
