The Springfield Lucky Horseshoes are looking at a possible $10 million makeover to their home field, Robin Roberts Stadium.
“The park district actually owns that property,” said Springfield Business Journal publisher Michelle Ownbey, “so they are hoping the park district may kick in some, and they are also looking at other fundraising opportunities and grant sources. They have been working with the park district’s architect. The park district and Lucky Horseshoes jointly commissioned the study to look at options for renovating that stadium.”
