North Mac Intermediate School is closed for a second day as the building airs out from a carbon monoxide test.
The district recreated the carbon monoxide leak that sent nearly 150 people to area hospitals Monday to make sure they found the cause of the leak. The building will be aired out to ensure carbon monoxide levels, which were twice what’s considered toxic, are back at zero.
The district expects to reopen the school Thursday.
