A proposal to devote $100 million in state construction funds to help land President Barack Obama’s presidential museum and library will be the focus of a legislative hearing.
The House Executive Committee is scheduled to meet Thursday to discuss the measure. At least six sites, most on Chicago’s South Side, want to become home to the library and museum.
