Illinois State Police are investigating an officer involved shooting that happened yesterday (Mon) in Fulton County.
Reports indicate that two Fulton Co. deputies were attempting to locate a man who was wanted on warrant for Domestic Battery.
Around 10p.m., when confronted by the deputies, the man pointed a gun at the two causing both Deputies to fire their weapons at the shooter.
The subject was pronounced deceased near the intersection of Fulton County Road 13 and East Bailey Road.
No law enforcement officers were injured during the incident. An autopsy was scheduled for today.
