The federal bankruptcy trial of Jeff Parsons continued Wednesday even though Parsons didn’t show up.
A federal judge determined Parsons spent $2.2 million for personal gain after his company, THR and Associates, filed bankruptcy in 2011. That amount will now be added to additional suits against Parsons, one of which will require him to pay more than 5-thousand dollars a month toward a $12.3 million back wage settlement.
The State Journal-Register reports the trial continued in Parson’s absence.
