PAWNEE, Ill. (WAND) – A pedestrian was airlifted to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Pawnee. It happened Wednesday at 4:33 p.m.
Pawnee Police Chief Barclay Harris said the driver was arrested. The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department is handling the investigation. Illinois State Police, Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department and the Divernon and Auburn Police Departments assisted at the scene.
