The identity of the 60-year-old woman who was killed in a motor vehicle collision Saturday night on Illinois State Route 97 in Menard County has been released by the Sangamon County Coroner.
Marjorie Hinds, of Petersburg, was pronounced dead at Springfield Memorial Hospital around 11pm that evening.
An autopsy was done Monday and preliminary findings show that she died of multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
The death remains under investigation by the Sangamon County Coroner and the Illinois State Police.
