A small plane has crashed in a Chicago suburb, killing three people.
The FAA says the twin-engine Beechcraft Baron crashed in Palos Hills late Sunday night.
Palos Hills police say the plane went down in the only “empty lot in the whole neighborhood.”
The aircraft was bound for Lawrence, Kansas, when it crashed shortly after takeoff from Chicago Midway Airport.
