Springfield Police are investigating an east side shooting that took place in broad daylight Monday afternoon.
Chief Kenny Winslow says three men in a car shot at another man riding a bicycle near 16th and Cedar around 4:00. The victim refused medical treatment and also wouldn’t tell police anything about the men inside the car or the car itself.
The scene was cleared by 5:30 p.m. Police were seen canvassing the area hours after the shooting.
The incident is still under investigation.
