This week Crime Stoppers wants information about a Robbery to a person that occurred last Thursday around 1:00pm at a Dollar General on W. Jefferson St.

Police say a man approached an elderly lady inside the store and began forcefully attempting to take her handbag from her.

When the woman fought back the suspect battered her and then ran south from the store with the victim’s handbag.

This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a Robbery that occurred at Dollar General located at 2800 W. Lawrence last Sunday around 10pm.

The suspect was a male wearing a black jacket with the hood up and a medical mask, black jeans and white shoes.

He hid in the stock room until closing. The suspect then approached the employee and implied he had a weapon before stealing cash and cigarettes. The suspect ran out the back door.
