Bond has been set at $75,000 for a Rochester man accused of bringing more than a pound of marijuana into Illinois on an Amtrak train with plans to sell it. Galesburg police arrested 28-year-old Kriss Barton on Thursday during a stop on a train journey that began in Arizona. The charges against him include possession with intent to deliver marijuana. Officers with a K-9 unit responded to Galesburg’s Amtrak station after receiving a tip. Authorities say a search of his luggage turned up 589 grams of marijuana, along with more than 60 hydrocodone tablets and one small plastic bag of cocaine.
