The Japanese running-shoe maker Mizuno wants to know, how will it run in Peoria?
According to the Journal Star, the shoe company is using the central Illinois city long known as a test market for products, ideas and entertainment to test new shoe lines.
Charles Hauck is Mizuno’s product testing coordinator. He said the company likes Peoria because it has a strong running community.
Mizuno is letting customers at the local Running Central shoe store try out six pairs of shoes each for a few minutes at a time.
Hauck said the company is gathering information from them on fit, cushioning and other things they like and don’t like.
