The Sangamon County Sheriff’s Office is trying to figure out if there are leaks in its department.
Justin Sharp was murdered earlier this year on south Whittier, and details soon appeared on the “Springfield Leaks” blog. Undersheriff Jack Campbell can’t give further details.
“The only thing I can tell you is we have an internal investigation open, and we’ll have to wait for the outcome of that investigation,” he said.
The blog says the sheriff’s department is demanding the names of the people who gave it the information in question, but the blog curators told the department “no.”
