Apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks. Sheriff Neil Williamson says he is trying to ensure the department does all it can to engage the public but adds he is trying to keep up with the latest.
“I’m a quick study. I found out about this about 8:30 this morning and they are trying to give me a crash course” Williamson told reporters as he demonstrated the department’s page.
Williamson had difficulty logging onto the department’s Facebook page. The sheriff is relying on staffers to update the page and says it will be an extension of the department’s website but will not be interactive.
