A Shot Spotter alert sent Springfield Police to the area of Manor Court where they found a man who claimed he had been shot at. Police found a single bullet hole in his car and that led them to identfy the residence where the shot came from.
Officers found 20 year old Aranyah Suttle, along with 18 year old Aarvon Suttle and identified them as being involved in the shooting. A search warrant was issued and SPD recovered nearly 7 pounds of cannabis, $1,630.00 in currency, ammunition and a Taurus 9mm pistol and Glock 9mm pistol, both of which had been reported stolen. The two were arrested and transported to the Sangamon County Jail.
