Teamwork made the resurfacing of Chatham Road work.
People from four levels of government celebrated Wednesday morning, including Leland Grove Ald. Mark Frech (pictured, right).
“To give you an example of why it took a partnership to do this, the total cost of this project is over $1.4 million,” Frech said. “The annual budget for the (village) of Leland Grove is $1 million.”
State, county, and city leaders joined in.
