Boaters hoping to use Lake Springfield this weekend will need to make alternate plans. A driver attempting to haul his boat at of the water at the Spaulding Dam launch ending up putting his truck into the water.
CWLP spokesperson Amber Sabin says crews are making sure any fuel that may have leaked is removed. She says the utility is hopeful the Spaulding launch can be re-opened by Monday.
