There may be cause for cautious optimism that Old Man Winter may be packing his bags.  The National Weather Service’s Chris Miller says long-term models suggest spring may finally arrive soon.

“We are not seeing anything that indicates any late winter storms but then again those types of things can occur late March and early April so we are not really out the woods  yet for another five or six weeks” says Miller.

Miller says as days get longer, temperatures typically warm.  Clocks move forward one hour this weekend with the official start of spring in two weeks.  Temperatures may reach the 60’s by early next week.
