Instead of receiving gifts, one organization in Springfield is giving gifts to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
Each month this year, Springfield Clinic is making a donation to an area non-profit organization to thank the community for its support. Chief Administrative Officer Mark Kuhn says the clinic is considering this celebration to continue in the future but adds giving is part of the company’s mission.
“We encourage our employees to get involved in the communities in which they live, whether that be the schools or religious affiliations or the not-for-profits,” says Kuhn. “We are blessed and it is our way of giving back to the community for helping us get to where are.”
September’s recipient of the “Give75” Campaign was Habitat for Humanity. The clinic donated building materials to finish a home in Grandview.
