A Springfield man was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for his role in a wide-spread drug conspiracy lasting from approximately May 2020 to November 2020.
32-year-old Denziel Witherspoon was indicted in December 2020 and pled guilty in February 2023.
Several co-defendants in this case have already received sentences, while charges are pending against several others.
