A man was shot and killed this afternoon around 1.
Springfield Police were called to Roadrunner Court and Chickadee Court for a report of a shooting.
When they arrived they found a 26-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds.
He was taken to HSHS St. John’s Hospital but did not survive.
A person of interest is being interviewed by detectives with the Springfield Police Department.
The coroner is withholding the name of the deceased pending notification of family.
