Springfield Police are looking for a man responsible for an east side murder late Friday night.
Officers are looking for Quarren Smallie, 28, of the 1000 block of South 15th St. Police responded to the shooting at the corner of 14th and Cass and found a victim down; he was taken to Memorial Medical Center where he later died.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Springfield Police or Sangamon and Menard County Crimestoppers.
