A sixteen-year-old Springfield High School student was charged Wednesday with a hate crime for a graffito that was antisemitic. This, according to reporting from The State Journal Register.
State’s Attorney Dan Wright has confirmed that a sixteen-year-old boy was arrested and held at the Juvenile Detention Center pending a psychological evaluation.
In addition to a hate crime, the teen is charged with disorderly conduct involving a threat to a school and criminal defacement of property.
