In a ribbon cutting ceremony this morning, the St. John’s Breadline officially reopened its dining room facilities to the public for the first time since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
Bishop Paprocki, along with Mayor Langfelder, participated in this morning’s event.
The St. John’s Breadline has been in operation since the Great Depression providing meals to those in need.
Prior to the pandemic, The St. John’s Breadline provided as many as 200 thousand meals per year in its North Fifth Street facility.
Since March of 2020, the St. John’s Breadline has been providing “curbside” service.
