Ada Twist, Scientist; Rosie Revere, Engineer; Iggy Peck, Architect; and Sofia Valdez, Future Prez are some of the fictional 2nd graders who use their STEM skills to make their world a better place.

The QUESTIONEERS is a new exhibit at the ALPLM. It uses fun, interactive stations to teach kids about careers in SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING and MATH.

It had its ribbon-cutting at the downtown museum Friday morning and in spite of some snowy weather a few dozen well-wishers turned out for the ceremony.

The exhibit is based on a best-selling series of children’s books and was developed by the DuPage Children’s Museum.

Saturday, Feb. 17, the museum will offer a special children’s admission price of just $1, along with entertainment by the StoneLion Puppet Theatre. The $1 admission price for children will also be offered March 16, April 20 and May 4.

The traveling exhibit will be at the ALPLM through May 5th.
