Two Springfield men along with a 15-year-old juvenile were taken into custody following a Monday afternoon raid in the 1900 block of S. 13th.
Inside of the residence the officers located 22-year-old Leroy Sims and with 21-year-old Elijah Sims. During a search of the property, multiple firearms were located that included a loaded 9mm pistol, a 22 caliber AR-15 style rifle, and a plastic baggy that contained suspected ecstasy pills.
There was also a 15-year-old juvenile who was seen leaving the residence prior to the warrant being served. The juvenile was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm Pistol.
All three are being held in the Sangamon County jail pending charges from the States Attorney’s office.
