A 66-year-old Christian County woman was killed over the weekend after her vehicle was struck by a train in Taylorville.
The Christian County Coroner’s office said that Kathleen A. Rhodes died at the scene Sunday. Authorities say the crash happened around 2 a.m. near South Main and Palmer Streets.
The Taylorville Police Department and officials from Norfolk Southern Corp. say they are investigating the accident. Her car was reportedly stuck on the tracks.
