McLean County officials say an Illinois State University student whose body was found in a Bloomington field died from exposure. Nineteen-year-old Yusuf Ahmad’s body was discovered Sunday morning about three miles from campus. Police say Ahmad was not properly dressed for the sub-zero temperatures.
Meanwhile, coroner Beth Kimmerling says a 20-year-old former ISU student who was found dead over the weekend in an apartment had a blood clot.
