Two Springfield-area hospitals have again received high marks for use of technology.
Memorial Medical Center and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln have been named among the “most wired” health care facilities in the nation by an industry publication.
” ‘Most Wired’ hospitals are those with health systems that have the greatest capacity to use electronic tools and technology. It is not just our billing system, it our way to interact with our partners, our payers and the way we interact within our system, our hospitals,” Graham says. “It has to do with medications administered within the walls of our hospitals but also a way to share patient results and information with our partners such as SIU School of Medicine and Springfield Clinic.”
It is the second consecutive year both hospitals have been recognized.
