A two-year-old boy has been pronounced dead after a single vehicle DUI crash in Scott County.
ISP says 27 year old Makayla Brown of Winchester was traveling southbound on Sand Road when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. It happened around 3 yesterday afternoon.
Brown was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries and a two-year-old boy was also taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
According to our news partners at WAND-TV Brown was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating compounds and improper lane usage.
