UIS’s Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and Provost,Dennis Papini, has announced his decision to step down from his role.
University of Illinois Springfield faculty members professed “no confidence” Papini in late April.
Dr. Papini will begin serving UIS as a faculty member in the College of Health, Science and Technology once an interim provost is named.
Dr. Papini joined UIS in 2017.
