Springfield police Thursday morning released audio and video related to the Sept. 30 police action shooting at the Sangamon County Juvenile Detention Center.
While the investigation is ongoing by state police, SPD does say that the state’s attorney has cleared all officers who were involved.
An officer shot and killed Camren Darden, 17, who somehow had a gun at the facility and had taken another resident, a girl, hostage.
