City Water Light and Power says a water main has broken for a second time, disrupting water service near Lake Springfield.
The main is located in a ravine near 1500 West Lake Drive. It broke on Saturday and took crews until late Sunday night to repair it. CWLP says service was restored to everyone involved around 8:30.
Several buildings on the University of Illinois Springfield campus were affected, as are customers along Beach View Ln.
