A building under construction on Springfield west side has partially collapsed, sending two workers to the hospital.
Springfield Fire Chief Ken Fustin says the call came in around 2:00. He says the wind likely got a hold of some loose roof trusses and caused them to collapse, the walls of the building across from White Oaks Mall were already up.
The two workers’ injuries were non life threatening.
