Joey McLaughlin talks with the Curator of Decorative Arts with the Illinois State Museum, Erika Holst bout a ‘LaFayette glove’ that was worn at a ball in honor of revolutionary war hero Marquis de Lafayette when he attended a ball in St. Louis nearly two centuries ago.  The Glove goes on display tomorrow (10-24-18) at the Illinois State Museum.  Only a few gloves are know to still be in existence.
