226 Sports Events will soon be opening a Springfield location in the facility at 3604 N. Peoria Road that previously housed Goals Indoor Sports. The facility will be home to the Extreme Baseball & Softball Club and Turn 2 Springfield, Jared Washko, owner of Washko Strength & Speed, LLC, will be the official sports performance provider for the Extreme Springfield teams and will operate out of the Peoria Road facility.

The FBI St. Louis Citizens Academy Alumni Association (CAAA) is offering a free cybersecurity webinar for small businesses on Thursday, Nov. 3, from 6-7 p.m. This webinar will not require technical knowledge to understand. It is designed to share basic cyber-safety practices to help small business owners who don’t have a cybersecurity team.
